10. Remarks: On Thursday, May 31 Ms. Woolbridge contacted Post
to report her husband as missing. Ms. Woolbridge said her
husband has a previous history of leaving their home and that on
this occasion Mr. Gonzalez left their home in Arizona on
Saturday May 26 without notification. She said Mr. Gonzalez was
probably going to visit friends in Nogales, Mexico. Mr.
Gonzalez is driving a black 1989 Mazda MPV van with California
license plates. On May 27, a friend of Mr. Gonzalez's called
Ms. Woolbridge to inform her that Mr. Gonzalez had been arrested
in Nogales, Mexico after fighting with a local police officer.
The friend told Ms. Woolbridge that Mr. Gonzalez was scheduled
to be released after paying a $50 USD fine. On Monday, May 28
Mr. Gonzalez spoke with Ms. Woolbridge via telephone and told
her he was scheduled to be released the following day. After
not hearing from him again, Ms. Woolbridge contacted Post and
provided a photo of Mr. Gonzalez to assist in the search. Ms.
Woolbridge could not provide the names or telephone numbers of
any of Mr. Gonzalez's friends in Mexico. Post contacted local
law enforcement and emergency services with negative results.
The Nogales Police Department, specifically, did not have any
records of his arrest. A local lookout was entered in the
system.
