(U)  Econchief conveyed reftel Notice to Airmen 
(NOTAM) on the morning of 3/20 to Riis Johansen, 
Director of Air Navigation Services at the UAE's 
FAA equivalent, the GCAA.  Johansen said the NOTAM 
would be immediately distributed to all air 
operators in the UAE.  The DATT also conveyed the 
NOTAM and Notice to Mariners (NOTMAR) to the UAE's 
Directorate of Military Intelligence (DMI) on the 
morning of 3/20.  DMI undertook to ensure delivery 
of both notices to the appropriate parties.
